YoJonesy is a privately held, software services firm supporting the energy markets and the transition to clean-tech. Founded in 2019 by Stacey Billups and Curtis Jones each have decades of experience in technology -- working with companies large and small, including multiple successful previous startups. They began working together in 2017 as independent contractors on a variety of projects for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Together, they had delivered dozens of projects prior to the formation of YoJonesy, including a complex software/hardware training simulator for the nuclear power industry, field-diagnostic web and mobile applications for solar generation facilities and general utility transmission/distribution networks, and an automated field-object classifier mobile app that used sophisticated machine-learning techniques to identify and provide information about a variety of electric-power infrastructure components. YoJonesy was created as a vehicle through which Billups and Jones could formalize delivery of these projects and expand their capacity to grow into new related areas, particularly areas they are passionate about, such as renewable energy and clean technology. Today, YoJonesy’s core focus is designing and developing custom software for the clean-energy market. The company works closely with clients to build solutions that leverage and maximize value from their data, streamline their workflows, and strategically improve their businesses.
